“The patients at Keystone Dental are kind, funny, intelligent and keep me on my toes. Seattle dentist Dr. Martin and our team are really salt-of-the-earth good people that enjoy what we do. When you are surrounded by positivity, it’s tough not to like your job!”

– Dawn, Practice Manager

Dawn | Practice Manager

Having began my professional journey in social work, dentistry initially felt like a far departure, but as I approach my 25th year of working in this field I can clearly see how important advocacy is for our patients – whether I am working to ensure you have the information you need to make the best choice for yourself or letting an insurance company have it when they are not doing right by you and everything in between. And it has been truly lovely getting to know our patients over the years and to witness the milestones in their lives. When I am away from the office, I find joy in the time I have with my two kids, being an integral part of my family farming business, and singing like a wild woman when no one (or everyone) is watching.  For Dawn, a smile…..This, and her love for advocating for patients’ needs, is what keeps her inspired in her dental career- where she’s been for over 20 years.

Brittani | Front Desk

Brittani – After graduating with a BS in conservation biology, I moved to Seattle in 2015. I started my career path in the veterinary / zoological field to dentistry, as I realized how fond I was of connecting with people. The daily interactions I get to have with patients has really made me understand just how important a kind interaction can be when working in dentistry. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, trying new foods and restaurants and snuggling with animals of all sorts (but especially dogs). If you’ve walked your dog by the office, you’ve likely seen a smile on my face.

Laura | Registered Dental Hygienist

Many of you know me from my 10 years as a Hygienist with Keystone Dental. You may have noticed I am not around quite as much, as I focus on my family and my own small business. When I am not in the office, I enjoy camping (as me about my Summer ‘22 camp across America trip), yoga and just getting out into the fresh air. I feel honored to get to know our incredible patients and play a role in improving both their oral and whole-body health.

Ilmihana – As a child, my family immigrated from Bosnia and Hercegovina to a diverse refugee community that instilled in me a love of service. Being a Dental Hygienist has allowed me to make a direct impact to my patients and community – and the genuine connections made are a great joy. Outside of work I enjoy traveling with my husband, cooking, and enjoying our two dogs. And don’t get me started on my adorable niece, Mia.

Hayley | Registered Dental Assistant, GBT Certified

My love of dentistry began as a child, as my own Dental Hygienist was kind and great at what she did. In fact, I was so inspired that with hard work and determination, I became the youngest Hygienist to ever graduate from my program over 10 years ago! I am a Wisconsin transplant that has fallen in love with the beautiful PNW. In addition to being a powerlifter-turned-climber, I enjoy hiking, trail running, cross-country skiing – you name it. If it is outdoors, I am there. I am looking forward to climbing Mt Baker next Summer!

Danielle | Registered Dental Hygienist

While she did follow her mother into the field of dentistry, Danielle typically likes to take the road less travelled – literally and figuratively. An adventurous traveler with a passion for food and fun, she set a goal of taking sunset photos on every continent in the world. And that’s just for starters.

  • Most memorable travel adventure: Bungee-jumping in Thailand.
  • Not afraid to: Challenge strangers to a game of basketball.
  • Looking forward to competing in: The Crossfit Games.

Phea | Registered Dental Assistant, GBT Certified

My journey in dentistry began 24 years ago, which has allowed me to provide care to generations of patients. It is so rewarding to watch families expand and children grow into adulthood. I am married with two teenage boys and love spending my free time with my family and friends – whether we’re shrimping or crabbing, gardening or eating – those really are the moments I enjoy.

Monina | Registered Dental Assistant, GBT Certified

One summer I signed up for a full-time gig in a dental office, as a one-time summer job – well, I never looked back. I pursued my Expanded Functions Dental Assistant license and have been placing restorations for nearly two decades. And though it can be challenging at times, I love everything about it! When I am out and about, it’s good food, hiking and sailing and traveling that really make me smile. And who knows, maybe I will get a dog someday – maybe.
