Dawn  Practice Manager

Having began my professional journey in social work, dentistry initially felt like a far departure, but as I approach my 25th year of working in this field I can clearly see how important advocacy is for our patients – whether I am working to ensure you have the information you need to make the best choice for yourself or letting an insurance company have it when they are not doing right by you and all the little things in between. It has been truly lovely getting to know our patients over the years and to witness the milestones in their lives. When I am away from the office, I find joy spending time with my two kids, being an integral part of my family farming business, and singing like a wild woman when no one (or everyone) is watching.

As a child, my family immigrated from Bosnia and Hercegovina to a diverse refugee community that instilled in me a love of service. Being an active participant in the Dental world has allowed me to have a direct impact on my patients and community – and the genuine connections proving you with care allows me to make, are a great joy. Outside of work I enjoy traveling with my husband, cooking, and enjoying our two dogs. And don’t get me started on my adorable niece, Mia.

I was fortunate to have had the most wonderful dental hygienist as a child, and she inspired me to seek a career in healthcare. Through her guidance, and my 11 years as a hygienist, I strive to improve not only your oral health, but focus on full-body wellness. I moved here from Wisconsin (Go Pack Go!) to pursue my other love: climbing. On my days off, you can find me hiking, trail running, climbing, mountaineering, cross-country skiing, or exercising my 2 Australian cattle dogs. I am hoping to help guide a few climbing trips on Mt Baker this summer…see you up there!

Many of you know me from my 10 years as a Hygienist with Keystone Dental. I was born and raised in the PNW and love the people and community in the Green Lake area. You may have noticed I am not around quite as much, as I focus on my family and my own small business. When I am not in the office, I enjoy camping (ask me about my Summer ‘22 camp-across-America adventure), yoga and just getting out into the fresh air. I feel honored to get to know our incredible patients and play a role in improving both their oral and whole-body health.

Phea Registered Dental Assistant, GBT Certified

My journey in dentistry began 24 years ago, which has allowed me to provide care to generations of patients. It is so rewarding to watch families expand and children grow into adulthood. I am married with two teenage boys and love spending my free time with my family and friends – whether we’re shrimping or crabbing, gardening or eating – those really are the moments I enjoy.
